Crystal Property and Land, sister company to Hurstwood, has added the Wharf Mill retail development in Wigan to its growing property portfolio.
The property comprises three retail warehouse units located in a prominent out of town retail area; on Caroline Street, just outside of Wigan town centre.
The units measure a combined total of 16,000 ft². Unit 1 is already occupied by Bathstore.com, Units 2 and 3 are currently available to let.
Crystal, founded in 2009, already has successful office developments in Manchester city centre, Northwich and Rotherham and owns the former police station building in nearby Tyldesley.
Hurstwood Managing Director Andy Park said: “We are delighted to have secured Wharf Mill as the latest addition to our commercial property portfolio. We are always on the lookout for new acquisitions and we think this one has a lot of potential.
“The area is popular with nationwide retailers; Bathstore.com already have a successful store at Wharf Mill and Comet, Argos and Wickes are all based close by. We are confident of bringing more major retailers to the area in the near future.”
Wharf Mill is located at the junction of Caroline Street and Chapel Lane on the A49, the main road through Wigan.
The two currently available units measure 4,500 ft² and 7,500 ft². There is on-site parking for 46 cars and a servicing area to the rear of the units.
